In short: Antisuppression Bars does not collect, send or share any personal data. Everything it remembers stays on your device.
What the app stores
To remember your preferences, the app saves a small amount of information in local storage on your device (your browser, or your TV’s app storage):
- Your bar settings: glasses type, orientation, bar width, bar strength and colour shades
- Your text size for the reading screen
- Whether you have seen the first-run notice
- Your best score in each game
This information never leaves your device. It is not linked to your name, account or any other identifier.
What the app does not do
- It does not collect personal information, health information, contacts or location.
- It does not use the camera or microphone.
- It does not send data to any server, and it contains no analytics, advertising or tracking.
- It does not sell or share data with anyone.
Deleting your data
On LG TV, uninstalling the app removes everything it stored. In a web browser, clearing this site’s data (cookies and site data) removes it.
Children
The app is suitable for children using it with a parent or eye-care professional. Because it collects no personal data, it collects none from children.
Medical notice
Antisuppression Bars is a supplement to vision therapy prescribed by an optometrist or ophthalmologist. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose or treat any condition.
Third-party services
The web version is hosted on GitHub Pages, which may keep standard server logs such as IP addresses under GitHub’s privacy statement. On LG TVs, downloading and running apps is handled by LG’s platform and LG Content Store, which have their own privacy policies. This policy covers only the Antisuppression Bars app.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. For questions, open an issue on the project’s GitHub page or use the developer contact listed on the app’s page in LG Content Store.
